It takes a BIG heart to shape little minds
At Cricklade Playgroup we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. This involves seven areas of learning and development which is provided through planned play activities to enable children to learn new skills and develop their knowledge and understanding. Children start with the three prime areas of learning.
Communication and Language
Physical Development and
Personal, social and emotional development
These prime areas are those most essential for your child’s healthy development and future learning.
As children grow, the prime areas will help them to develop skills in 4 specific areas:
Understanding the World and
Expressive arts and design
These seven areas are used to plan children’s learning and activities. Practitioners ensure that activities are suited to each child’s individual needs and follow their own interests.
Children in the Early Years Foundation Stage learn by playing and exploring, being active, and through creative and critical thinking which takes place both indoors and outside.
Cricklade Pre-School Playgroup’s curriculum contains all the learning which is planned and guided by the school, whether it is carried on in groups or individually, inside or outside the school.
We always strive to show and tell! Our children mean so much to us, yet with our busy lifestyles, some moments we miss. This is why we have created this very special gallery dedicated to all our children and their parents.
A person's a person, no matter how small
